Partners & Funding Sources

Thank you to our many supporters allowing Fulton Child Care Association to continue to provide quality childcare to the Edmonton community since 1974.

Edmonton Community Foundation

In 2019, Fulton Child Care Association was the successful recipient of a community grant provided by the Edmonton Community Foundation. The project funded bathroom renovations including ensuring our washrooms are fully accessible, and installing a brand new gender-neutral washroom.

Government of Alberta

Family and Community Support Services (FCSS)

Family and Community Support Services provides annual funding for our organization to deliver our preventive social service program: Supports and Advantages for Children and Families. Many thanks to this agency for helping us enhance and support our children and families through various intervention strategies.

Community Facility Enhancement Program (CFEP)

The CFEP Program, in partnership with the Government of Alberta, assists Albertans with improving and enhancing the services they provide to the community. The expansion and upgrading of Alberta’s extensive network of community-use facilities continues to enrich the quality of family and community life in Alberta. The CFEP grant assists Fulton Child Care Association with the cost of upgrades to the Centre’s building exterior.

Child Care Subsidy Program

Parents with preschool, playschool and afterschool children can contact the Government of Alberta Child Care Subsidy Program, which helps low-income families with their child care expenses. The subsidy rate varies according to net family income, family size and the number of hours of child care that are needed. To see if you qualify, phone 780-427-0444.

The Muttart Foundation

The Muttart Foundation provides a training grant to allow staff members of Fulton Child Care Association to participate in “Communicating Effectively Through Tough Conversations” delivered by training sessions on the June 2011 Staff Professional Development Day.

Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission

Fulton Child Care Association is fortunate enough to be included in the Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission lottery pool. Our many volunteers man the Casino event held approximately every 18 months, and Fulton receives a share of the pooled revenue from the quarter. Funds raised have gone towards insulating and resurfacing the building exterior, to improve the building’s energy efficiency.
